Navigation bar
From the navigation bar, you can access the actions and sections at the core of your workspace:
Create lets you create a new view
Workspace lets you handle the settings of your workspace
Users lets you invite users to your workspace and set their roles
as well as access the views that are part of your workspace and that you have access to.
View
A view is a lens you can use to look at and interact with the items saved in a database from your workspace.
View top bar
Every view has a top bar that contains:
breadcrumbs to let you climb back the tree structure of your views
the Setup link that directs you to the view settings bar
the Help link that directs you to the Intercom messenger where you can ask for help from the Skippet team
View header
Every view has a header where you can:
(re)name the view
use the view toolbar to:
create new items
filter and sort existing ones
access the view settings bar
View body
Every view has a body where your data is displayed as items in a table, calendar, ….
View settings bar
Every view has a setting bar where you can set the settings of the view and its inner database.
In the settings bar, you can find the following subsections:
Bookmarks, where you can manage combinations of filters and sorts saved as shortcuts
View, where you can set how to display items in the view
Permissions, where you can define who can interact with which items
Fields, where you can define the structure of your items
Automations, where you can automate changes to your items
and, last but not least, actions to take on the view itself.
